Here's some information on the new game in the Luminous Arc series of DS SRPG's. Taken from Gamefaqs.

Story and World:
"It is said that Witches once saved the world, and people still sing of their deeds. For that reason, they call those born with natural affinity for magic Magi Knights, and give them their praise and admiration. However, a new disaster, the Faeries, has stricken this world.
"Fighting changes everything; the people, the world."

In the Holy Kingdom of Baldia, more than a decade ago, the sky was covered with a fluorescent light, and the faeries descended upon the kingdom. Those faeries, called "Felicia", are on an "Eye Hunt", in search of the Power of Eyes hidden within humans.

The Hunt has caused various kinds of illness and deaths. Its victims are called "the Lost".

Only magic can defeat the faeries. When a human awakens the Power of Eyes, a Lapistier manifests outside her body, and she becomes capable of using magic. Those are the Magi Knights.

Potential Knights from the whole world are gathered at the Ulgard Academy of Magic Knights. The school Knight group, Magus, are the faerie fighters.

On a day of meteor shower, the faeries attacked humans at the Church of Lest. Refi was a child raised by the Church; when his childhood friend Lily was assaulted by faeries, the power within him awakened.

A few months later, Refi was enrolled into Ulgard. And the story begins here...

"Daytime" The Tactical Gameplay:
There are two difficulty levels, "Normal" and "Hard".

Every time a character levels up, you may choose between two ways of growth: Balanced or
Unique. Balanced growth distributes her attribute points more evenly, while Unique growth empasizes her specific characteristics.

There are now chests and traps on the battlefield.

The UI has been improved in various ways, the most obvious one is the upper screen: it now displays the action order of all units.

As with LA2, when certain conditions are met during battles, golden-colored "treasure monsters" would appear, carrying special loot.

"Aftertime" The Adventure Gameplay:
The adventure part is similar to Sakura Wars. You take direct control of Refi, living inside the school. The upper screen shows time of the day and a map of the school, with "!" marking story events.

The intermission system has been expanded. Even non-combat characters may have intermissions.

I would put the characters, but there are a LOT of characters in LA3; 16/17 tops, maybe even more. So, here's the trailer, just know that the blonde guy is the main character, Refi and the blue haired girl is main heroine, Eruru.

This must be good news for Luminous Arc fans. I know it is for me.

Off-Topic: Right now, I'm playing Tales of Phantasia (it takes place 4000 years after the events of Symphonia. Ironically, Phantasia is the very first game in the Tales series, so that means Symphonia was intended to be a prequel to Phantasia). It's a good GBA RPG for people who like Golden Sun and stuff, try it out!
